Im südhessischen Bürstadt ging zum 19. Jahrestag des Tschernobyl-Unfalls die weltweit größte dachintegrierte Photovoltaikanlage in Betrieb. Die mehr als fünf-Megawattanlage (exakt 500025 kWp) ist auf dem Dach der Speditionsfirma TTS Global Logistics GmbH » installiert und besteht aus 29182 Modulen, die auf ca. 50.000 Quadratmetern aufgeständert sind. Das ist eine Größe von acht Fußballfeldern.
